The Royal Hotel in Bungendore was built in 1883, almost 140 years later it was in desperate need of a refurbishment to both structure and aesthetics. An experienced construction company was required to carry out the extensive scope of works. In addition, it was important that the successful company have an appreciation for the desired outcome — a quality building with a rural and rustic charm, and high-end finishes.

This beautiful old building required many custom solutions to regain the integrity and charm of the original architecture, whilst also complying with the current standards and building practices. This refurbishment and upgrade included major works to the foundations, structure, facade and all interior spaces.
